How to apply

To apply for any position with Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) visit the federal public service employment site, jobs.gc.ca. Applications must be submitted online and the first step is to create an account.

  • If you are a veteran or a Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) member, enter your Service Number (SN)
  • If you have a priority entitlement, enter your Priority Reference Number (PRN)
  • If you are a current or former government employee, enter your Personal Record Identifier (PRI)

Search for a job and create a saved search to make it easier on your next visit. You can also create an alert so that job notices are of interest to you are forwarded to your e-mail address.

Depending on the position and location a variety security clearance levels and processes could be required. We understand that the security clearance process can be demanding and take time. You may find it takes a number of months from time of application to when a job process might conclude with an offer of employment.
